About Camping at Cracker Creek
If it’s an overnight retreat your group is looking for, then look no further. We have the perfect primitive campsite for any family, youth, or group outing. Our visitors will find the nicely shaded campsites and bathhouse with hot showers a welcome comfort. This unique natural area is ideal for many types of recreational uses including canoeing/kayaking, fishing, hiking, and bird watching— all of which are available to our overnight guests. Whether you’re looking to spend a few hours or a few days, Cracker Creek is an experience you and your guest will not soon forget.
Group Campsite Reservations and Rates:
Group campsite reservations are available for groups for the minimum camping fee expenditure for one night of $100. Groups not meeting this expenditure will have the balance deducted from their deposit/credit card. Maximum number of campsites limited to 50 tents for wilderness camping.
Non-Profit: $10 per adult and $5 for children and youth (under age 18).
Private/Corporate Groups: $12 per adult and $6 for children and youth (under age 18).
This is a per night charge. All camping areas are designed for primitive tent camping. Check in time is 12pm the day of arrival and check out time is 12pm on the final day of your stay.
A day camper fee (50% of overnight camping charge) applies to all guests participating in activities with your group, but not staying overnight.
Groups Making Single Payments can pre pay their guests’ admission fees or open an account for the day. Group accounts can be established by leaving a signed credit card or approved company check at the office. Group tabs will be invoiced at the end of the day or stay. Groups making a single payment can supply a guest list, issue coupons to their guests or have guests’ register as they arrive.

Non-profit organization such as Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, or other 501c3 organization have special rates available for additional amenities. Please call or email us to discuss rates and discounts.
Group Rates for Guest Services
We offer discounted group rates to campers for all of our other guest services including: canoe/kayak rentals, eco-history pontoon tours, pirate boat cruises, hayrides, educational and children’s programs, catering and concessions. Ask for the current rate information at the time of your reservation.
Deposit Information
A 25% deposit (based on the number of campers anticipated) is required at the time the reservation is made. Reservations are not confirmed until deposit has been received. Credit card deposits will be processed for the full deposit amount.
Deposits can not be used to pay for other guest services and may be retained if necessary to cover the cost of clean up, damage repair or security personnel. Deposits confirm that all guests comply with Cracker Creek rules and policies.
Full refunds are available if cancellations are made at least 14 days in advance. Seven-day notice is required to reschedule a reservation. All rescheduled reservations must be made within one year from the original date.

Cracker Creek is an environmental and historical treasure of Port Orange. Located on the western side of scenic Spruce Creek, this 20 acre sanctuary is a natural home for a variety of endangered plants and animals that can be seen by boat or on foot. Cracker Creek is a pure nature preserve and is perfect for many recreational activities such as boating, bird watching, canoeing, kayaking, group camping, and hiking.
